Building hardware can be defined as hardware products and materials that are used in residential and commercial buildings, construction applications, interior decor, finishing, safety and safety purposes. Building hardware includes an extensive product line that range from locks, latches and cabinet hardware to hinges and door closers; and plumbing equipment to safety and security devices.

Because of this, demand for floorings, wall coverings, paints and fittings that are used in homes along with hardware and electrical tools, such as electric screw drivers, drill drivers and home security systems is gaining strength. In addition, building hardware products are designed with more and more emphasis on the easiness of fitting and maintenance. Some of the building hardware products and accessories have become standardized in terms of size and design, thereby facilitating easy repairing and replacement by users.
